How much does 3D modeling cost?

The 3D modeling cost can vary depending on several factors, so there isn’t a one-size-fits-all price.

Key elements that influence the cost include the complexity of the design, the level of detail required, the number of components or parts, and whether you're starting from scratch, a sketch, or an existing file.

Can you turn my idea, sketch, or drawing into a 3D model?

Yes, absolutely!

We specialize in transforming ideas, hand-drawn sketches, or 2D drawings into fully developed 3D CAD models.

Whether you have a rough concept on paper or a more detailed technical sketch, we can interpret your vision and bring it to life using professional CAD software like SolidWorks.

Can you modify an existing CAD file?

Yes, we can absolutely modify existing CAD files. Whether you need minor adjustments, design improvements, or a complete redesign, we can work with your current CAD files to make the necessary changes. This includes updates to dimensions, geometry, features, materials, or even converting the model for a different manufacturing process.

We support a wide range of file formats—including SolidWorks files (.SLDPRT, .SLDASM), STEP, IGES, and more—so even if your design was created in another system, we can usually import and edit it without any issues.

Can you create or prepare a CAD model for 3D printing?

Yes, we can definitely prepare a CAD model optimized for 3D printing. Whether you're starting from a concept, sketch, or an existing design, we can create a detailed 3D model that meets the specific requirements of additive manufacturing.

When designing for 3D printing, it's important to consider factors like wall thickness, overhangs, part orientation, material properties, and the type of 3D printer being used (FDM, SLA, SLS, etc.). We take all of these into account to ensure that the final model is both printable and structurally sound.

How long does it take to create a CAD model?

The time required to create a CAD model can vary widely depending on the complexity of the design and the scope of the project. Simple models with basic geometry can often be completed within a few hours, while more intricate parts, assemblies, or projects with high volumes may take several days or even longer.
